Where are you located? Are you willing to travel?

I’m based near Kansas City, but I can travel to any location that permits non-local photographers! Let me know where you’re headed to and I can provide you with a package that includes all travel and accommodations—No need to stress about additional fees!

What are your rates/packages?

Each client is different, so let’s chat about you and figure out the perfect package for your unique needs. I can’t promise that I’ll fit everyone’s budget, but I can promise that I’ll put my whole heart in preserving your memories and creating high-quality, artful photographs that you’ll have for years to come. You’re trusting me with important memories, and I don’t take that lightly!

Do you photograph families?

I specialize in couples, but depending on my schedule, I may be able to squeeze in a family session here or there. It will also depend on the type of family session you need. Send me a message and let’s chat about it!

When will I receive my photos?

My turnaround time for couples and engagement sessions is 3 weeks, and turnaround for weddings is 6-8 weeks. This may be a little longer than other photographers, but trust that I’m putting in extra effort to make each and every photo special and artistic. Those who know me know I’m ~~very much~~ somewhat of a perfectionist, and you deserve the best of my work, not something rushed. With that said, I know how hard it is to wait in anticipation, so I always provide sneak peeks much earlier!

How will I receive my photos?

I deliver all photos through a secure, personalized online gallery. You’ll be able to download your images to your device, and you can share the link with family and friends. You also have the option of purchasing high-quality prints and products right from within your gallery.

What rights do I have with my photos?

You will have all the rights to download and print your photos wherever you choose, though you do have the option to purchase prints within the gallery store for your convenience. You can share and use your photos for personal use (crediting Pauline Ford Photography is greatly appreciated!).

Can you Photoshop _____ for me?

I use Photoshop and Lightroom to elevate photos and really capture how a moment felt. However, I want all my clients to see the beauty in themselves—their TRUE selves—and not some filtered version. I am happy to edit out temporary things like blemishes or scratch marks, but not your body shape or your unique freckles that make up who you are. My rule of thumb—if it’s not something that could realistically change in three weeks, it shouldn’t be done. I understand everyone has their insecurities (including myself), and I will do everything I can to work with them, but I think there’s true value in embracing who you are.

Do you photograph LGBTQ+ couples?

Absolutely. Photography is for everyone. Period.

Whether you’re gay, straight, religious, an interracial couple, have this or that political view, or look a certain way, you have space here. Diversity and love deserves to be celebrated. Do you treat others with kindness? Cool, we’ll probably be a good match!

How do I book you?

If you’ve looked through my website and information and decide my work fits your needs, send me an inquiry so I can start to get to know you. I’ll get in touch as soon as I can. I’d also love to hop on a call so I can answer all your questions and provide you with honest opinions so that you can choose the best option for you.

Once you choose a package, a retainer is required to secure your date ($150 for regular sessions and $650 for weddings and elopements).
